This trek is challenging, as it involves long hiking days and a steep ascent to the summit. However, no technical climbing is required. A good level of fitness is recommended.
Previous trekking experience is helpful but not essential. Beginners with good fitness levels can complete the trek with proper preparation.
The refuge is a simple mountain lodge with dormitory-style shared rooms, basic facilities, and a communal dining area. Private rooms are not available.
Essential items include sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing (especially in winter), a sleeping bag, sunglasses, sunscreen, trekking poles, and a headlamp for the early morning ascent.
No, all meals are provided during the trek. However, you may bring personal snacks for extra energy along the way.

Altitude sickness can affect some trekkers, especially near the summit. Staying hydrated, walking at a steady pace, and spending two nights at the refuge help with acclimatization.
